You never know when nostalgia will hit you. I was browsing Pinterest looking for fashion and vacation ideas, when out of nowhere, memories. I grew up near the coast of Maine, so this was a frequent sight and a part of my childhood.
All it really is is a bit of rope tied around the post on the dock and a chain, but it means so much more than that to me. It means home. It means a way of life. It means Maine, and I cherish it.
